No, the answer isn't 13888 drops ! That would be the answer if you had to make the calculus, but to find the solution to this enigma, no calculus was needed and all numerical data were useless. You just had to read the enigma several times to see that the question is "how many drops can we put in an EMPTY glass", not in a glass !! The solution is naturally one because once you've put one drop in it the glass isn't empty anymore.
